Days 1 : The eyebrows are approximately 20 to 25% darker and bolder in width than they will be when healed. Your skin is red under the pigment, which causes the color of the pigment to appear darker. There is some swelling, although difficult to actually see due to thickness of the skin in the eyebrow area. This will subside.
Days 2 : Don’t be concerned that your eyebrows initially appear darker and bolder in size than you desire. This is all part of the process. To keep the microbladed skin clean, use a damp cotton round to pat the worked-on area once every hour.
Day 3-7: Eyebrows start to itch and will appear a bit thicker in texture. Exfoliation will cause excess pigment surrounding the eyebrow procedure to flake away and your brows will appear narrower. New skin will heal over the pigmented area and result in softer appearance of your eyebrows.
Start by patting the area clean with a damp cotton round and pat dry, Apply a rice grain amount of ointment with a cotton swab and spread across the treated area. Never over apply as this will suffocate skin and delay healing. The ointment on a wet or damp microbladed area. Repeat this process through days 3-10 in the AM and PM.
Day 7-10: The skin begins to flake and peel from the outside edges first. Color finished flaking off and appears softer and grayer for a few days until color clarifies. Color may seem to disappear during the healing process. Continue using the ointment on the treated area as before.
Day 11-21: Through the final healing stages, color will emerge and refine. Some strokes may fade and come back and some will not. The touch-up will correct and address with the tough skin that did not absorb the pigment well.
